Your DMV Weekend Calendar Of Events July 1 To July 3 2016

This weekend includes the Universoul Circus at the National Harbor, the Nationals at home against the Reds, and some good fireworks.  I have had a few first time home buyers wanting to reside in top school districts but have been very selective with the amenities inside of the home.   The quality homes in the 200-300 range are going super fast and they are very competitive.   If the school district is very important to you you may want to compromise the huge deck, the granite counters, etc.  You want to get into your first home, build some good equity, and then go for the dream home in a few years.  Right now, supply for the for quality homes in the 200-300 range in areas such as Woodbridge/Dumfries/Manassas are low which increases the price.  That, combined with rates always being unpredictable, you just don't want to price yourself out of the real estate market waiting for the perfect home.   Nonetheless, have a great July 4th weekend and please let me know if you have any questions about your local market!
